Very expected game when 18th ranked Adanaspor (5-29) was rolled over at home by eighth ranked Afyon (18-16) 94-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. Afyon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 Adanaspor turnovers and outrebounded them 42-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. Afyon looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Swingman Sezgin Eris (185-85) fired 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American center David Weaver (207-87, college: Wake Forest) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Afyon players scored in double figures. Latvian center Kaspars Kambala (206-78, college: UNLV) produced 11 points and center Fatih Eravci (210-86) added 9 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Afyon moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Socar Petkim. Adanaspor lost ninth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 29 lost games.
