Adana ASKI managed to win second period 12-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American center Courtney Paris (191-87, college: Oklahoma) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 22 rebounds for the winners and Belgian point guard Hind Ben-Abdelkader (172-95, college: California) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side American center Michelle Snow (196-80, college: Tennessee, agency: LBM Management) responded with 5 points and 10 rebounds and Slovakian power forward Romana Vynuchalova (192-86, college: Penn St.) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hatay will meet at home Botas (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Adana ASKI will play against Ormanspor in Ankara and hope to win that game.
