Regular Season Round 19: Akhisar Bld - Orman Genclik 78-83

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Orman Genclik and 12th ranked Akhisar Bld had identical 8-10 record. But Akhisar Bld was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Ankara 83-78. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Antonio Graves (191-85, college: Pittsburgh) who led the winners and scored 28 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) accounted for 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Bosnian power forward Kenan Bajramovic (206-81) came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds and forward Cenk Sekeroglu (203-91) added 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively for Akhisar Bld in the defeat. Four Akhisar Bld players scored in double figures. Orman Genclik (9-10) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Duzce Bld. Akhisar Bld lost their third game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Orman Genclik's next round opponent will be higher ranked Acibadem (#6) in Istanbul and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Akhisar Bld will play on the road against Ankara D.S.I. (#15) and hope to win that game.
