Very expected game in Istanbul where 18th ranked Samsun (6-28) was rolled over by sixth ranked Acibadem (22-12) 113-86 on Saturday. Acibadem looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists comparing to just 22 passes made by Samsun's players. Center Hakan Yapar (202-84) fired 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. American power forward DJ White (206-86, college: Indiana) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Anil Sungur produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Erin Gulersen (183-92, college: Lynn) added 12 points and 9 assists respectively for lost side. Four Acibadem and five Samsun players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Acibadem have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 22-12 record. Samsun lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 28 lost games.
