Erokspor smashed Ormanspor in Istanbul 81-61 . Erokspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for American center Jeremy Simmons (204-1989, college: Charleston) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Mustafa Gorur (204-1988) helped adding 21 points. Simmons is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was American guard Troy Franklin (183-1989, college: Coppin St.) with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Ercan Bayrak (205-1997) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
