There was a minor upset when higher rankedGaziantep (3-3) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Ormanspor (3-3) 79-70 on Monday. The best player for the winners was American forward William McNair Jr (211-2000, college: Kansas St.) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds. The other American import guard Troy Franklin (183-1989, college: Coppin St.) chipped in 16 points and 7 assists. Four Ormanspor players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Marquis Wright (185-1995, college: Siena, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded 26 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and Latvian Rolands Freimanis (209-1988) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Ormanspor moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Gaziantep .
