Fenerbahce players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Belgian center Emma Meesseman (192-1993, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Belgian point guard Julie Allemand (173-1996, agency: LBM Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. Lithuanian forward Laura Juskaite (187-1997) answered with 16 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Kennedy Burke (185-1997, college: UCLA) added 12 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Mersin. Mersin's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
