Besiktas shot the lights out from three nailing 18 long-distance shots on high 52.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. American-Jamaican Brynton Lemar (193-1995, college: UC Davis) nailed 19 points for the winning side and American Jonah Mathews (191-1998, college: USC) accounted for 17 points and 4 assists. American guard Errick McCollum (188-1988, college: Goshen) came up with 23 points and international center Muhsin Yasar (210-1995) added 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) respectively for Galatasaray in the defeat. Five Besiktas and four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
