Galatasaray made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Besiktas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American Fabian White Jr (202-1998, college: Houston) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Errick McCollum (188-1988, college: Goshen) chipped in 14 points (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!) during the contest.
