Quarter-Finals Round 3: Halychyna - Kharkiv 99-68

Halychyna eased past visiting Kharkiv and advanced into the semifinal stage. The game without a history. Halychyna led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Halychyna outrebounded Kharkiv 41-25 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a quality performance for point guard Illya Shemosiuk (188-85) who led the winners and scored 34 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Denys Tiutiunnyk (195-92) accounted for 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four Halychyna players scored in double figures. Halychyna's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Roman Olchovskiy (196-90) came up with 20 points and 4 steals and point guard Pavlo Tsiopych (180-86) added 12 points and 6 assists respectively for Kharkiv in the defeat.
