Regular Season Round 12: Dnipro - Cherkasy 93-60
Date: December 1, 2017
Superleague top team - Dnipro (11-1) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Cherkasy (6-6) in Dnepropetrovsk 93-60. Dnipro forced 21 Cherkasy turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The winners were led by international Olexandr Mishula (192-92) who scored that evening 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international forward Stanislav Tymofeyenko (204-89, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Dnipro players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 13 points and 14 rebounds by American forward Shaheed Davis (206-94, college: Cent.Florida) did not help to save the game for Cherkasy. The former international forward Volodymyr Koniev (203-89) added 8 points and 10 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dnipro have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-1 record. Cherkasy at the other side keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Dnipro will meet at home Mykolaiv (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Cherkasy will play against Khimik and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
