Semi-Finals Game 1: Niko-Basket - Hoverla 75-74

Niko-Basket snatched a narrow home win over Hoverla in the opener. Hoverla was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 7-point lead after three quarters before a 23-15 charge of Niko-Basket, which allowed them to win the game. Niko-Basket outrebounded Hoverla 48-27 including a 18-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Maksym Ozhegov (190-90) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Mykhailo Horobchenko (182-98) contributed with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Center Volodymyr Orlenko (212-85) answered with 15 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Yuriy Lokhmanchuk (197-87, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 19 points in the effort for Hoverla. Four Hoverla players scored in double figures. Hoverla's coach Pavel Piskarev rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
