The game without a history. Khmelnytskyi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter.Khmelnytskyi forced 21 Niko Basket 2 turnovers. Strangely Niko Basket 2 outrebounded Khmelnytskyi 45-27 including a 21-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Khmelnytskyi looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Niko Basket 2 's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Khmelnytskyi made 7 blocks. American guard Carlos Hines (196-1999, college: Peru St.) fired 28 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Dmitry Kachanov (177-2003) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 assists. Power forward Anton Sturov (203-2004) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and Danylo Stryzhak added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
