Semi-Finals Game 1: Dnipro - Rivne 100-72

It looked good early as Rivne took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Dnipro had a 29-23 second period charge getting the lead and Rivne was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 72-100.Dnipro dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Rivne 's 26. They outrebounded Rivne 45-28 including a 35-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dnipro players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Rivne 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Volodymyr Koniev (203-1989) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international forward Stanislav Tymofeienko (205-1989) contributed with 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Dnipro players scored in double figures. American power forward Jalen Dupree (205-1998, college: Tennessee St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and the other American import guard Malik Jacobs (190-1996, college: Urbana) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Rivne. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
