BulgarianMontana defeated Slovenian Celje at home 82-69 . The game was mostly controlled by Montana. Celje managed to win third quarter 13-7 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Montana made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Venezuelan Daniela Morillo-Wallen (179-1995, college: Okla City) scored 23 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and chipped in 9 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Montana players scored in double figures. responded with 14 points and 4 assists and American guard Shawnta Shaw (157-2000, college: Jax State, agency: Interperformances) scored 14 points. Celje's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
