Very important is a home loss of third ranked North MacedonianKriva Palanka (4-2) against fifth ranked Slovenian Maribor (4-2) on Sunday night. Host Kriva Palanka was crushed by Maribor in Palanka 74-32 . Maribor held Kriva Palanka to an opponent 21.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 38.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Maribor forced 34 Kriva Palanka turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Kriva Palanka 's players. Lana Iseinoski notched 12 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals to lead the effort and Veronika Ferjancic supported her with 7 points and 12 rebounds. Even 6 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by Ukrainian Khrystyna Kulesha (185-2004) did not help to save the game for Kriva Palanka . American forward Alexis Poole (188-1999, college: KSU) added 6 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Maribor have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Ilrija and Kriva Palanka.
