There was a minor upset when 5th ranked EstonianTSA Tallinn (1-2) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Latvian RSU (2-2) 66-53 on Saturday. RSU forced 24 TSA Tallinn turnovers and outrebounded them 51-33 including 37 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when RSU made 9 blocks. stepped up and scored 11 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals for the winners and chipped in 17 points. Guard Laura Grunmann (175-2008) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and Canadian forward Niyah Becker (188-2000, college: Wake Forest) scored 6 points and 6 rebounds. TSA Tallinn's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. RSU moved-up to fifth place. Loser TSA Tallinn dropped to the sixth position with two games lost.
