Regular Season Round 6: TTT Riga - LCC Klaipeda 102-67

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of LithuanianLCC Klaipeda (4-1) on the court of fourth ranked Latvian TTT Riga on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by TTT Riga 102-67 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of LCC Klaipeda. TTT Riga dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to LCC Klaipeda 's 40. TTT Riga forced 20 LCC Klaipeda turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by LCC Klaipeda 's players. It was a good game for guard Enija Viksne (178-2004) who led her team to a victory with 11 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Forward Krista Lukasevica (186-2006) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Five TTT Riga players scored in double figures. replied with 14 points and 9 rebounds and Brazilian Maisa Pereira (183-2002, agency: Interperformances) added 12 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for LCC Klaipeda. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TTT Riga have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending Latvian champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Neptunas and LCC Klaipeda.
