The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked LatvianTTT Riga (14-3) in Vilnius on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by leader Lithuanian Kibirkstis (8-0) 64-54 . 30 personal fouls committed by TTT Riga helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Daugile Use (196-1996) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and center Giedre Labuckiene (192-1990) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side guard Ieva Pulvere (172-1990) responded with 12 points and 7 rebounds and South Sudanese-American forward Nyamer Diew (188-2001, college: Colorado) scored 7 points and 10 rebounds. TTT Riga's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Kibirkstis have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Despite that victory Kibirkstis went down to fourth position due to points difference. Defending Latvian champion TTT Riga still keeps top place with three games lost.
