Second ranked LithuanianNeptunas (8-2) crushed at home 6th ranked Latvian RSU (5-12) by 23 points 78-55 , which is the biggest margin this round on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of RSU. Neptunas made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game, while RSU only scored three points from the stripe. Neptunas forced 20 RSU turnovers and outrebounded them 45-33 including 36 on the defensive glass. American guard Cassidy Mihalko (180-1995, college: CBU, agency: DC Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Urte Cizauskaite (187-2003) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. Five Neptunas players scored in double figures. Latvian point guard Emilija Trofimenko (168-2007) produced 12 points and forward Paula Cirsa (176-2003) added 12 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Neptunas went down to fifth position due to points difference. Loser RSU keeps the sixth place with 12 games lost.
