Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Bottom-ranked BC Vienna (0-7) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to top-ranked Gmunden Swans (7-0) 86-72 on Sunday evening. Gmunden forced 22 Vienna turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Vienna helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Chase Paar (210-2000, college: Shepherd) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 9 rebounds and ex-international guard Daniel Friedrich (181-1992) who added 9 points, 10 assists and 4 steals during the contest. The former international forward Aron Stazic (207-2007) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Gmunden Swans have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Traiskirchen. Vienna at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Gmunden is looking forward to face UBSC Graz (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Vienna will play against Wels (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in Wels supposed to be also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Nord Dragonz (3-4) played at the court of seventh ranked Raiffeisen Flyers Wels (3-4). Raiffeisen Flyers Wels did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 99-79. The winners were led by American guard Zach Laput (193-2001, college: Davidson) who scored that evening 25 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Elvir Jakupovic supported him with 21 points (perfect from downtown making all five shots). Even 23 points and 9 rebounds by American guard Rashun Williams (201-1999, college: UT Tyler, agency: Ten18 Management) did not help to save the game for Eisenstadt. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with UBSC Graz and Eisenstadt. Eisenstadt lost third consecutive game. Wels will play against bottom-ranked Vienna (#11) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Eisenstadt will play against Kufstein (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Graz supposed to be also quite interesting. 7th ranked UBC St. Poelten (2-5) played at the court of eighth ranked UBSC Graz (3-4). UBSC Graz smashed UBC St. Poelten 105-83 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Cobie Barnes who scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Sean Smith produced 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. UBSC Graz moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Wels and Eisenstadt. St.Poelten lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. UBSC Graz will meet league's leader Gmunden on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. St.Poelten will play against Kapfenberg (#3) and hope to secure a win.

In the last two games of round 8 Klosterneuburg was destroyed by Oberwart on the opponent's court 85-66. Kufstein lost to defending champion Kapfenberg in a home game 82-94.
