Raiffeisen Dornbirn Lions (2.Bundesliga) agreed terms with 20-year old guard Valentin Pils (185cm-2004) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He has played for the last two years at BC Raiffeisen Flyers Wels in the Austrian BSL league. BSL was a little too high level for him, where in 8 games he had just 0.3ppg last season. 2.Bundesliga will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He helped them to end the regular season as the second-best team in the league. They also played in the Cup final. The other team he played shortly was another Austrian team Upper Austrian Balles (BSL).
