Raiffeisen Duchess Klosterneuburg (BDSL) has re-signed 29-year-old international 173cm guard Sigrid Koizar (college: Maine) for the 2025-26 season. She played there last season, averaging 13.5ppg, 5.8rpg, 5.5apg, and 1.0spg in 6 BDSL games. In the 2023-24 season, she played for CSM CSU Constanta in the Romanian league, averaging 7.8ppg, 5.0rpg, and 1.9apg in 22 games in the Romanian Liga Nationala. Koizar helped her team win the Romanian League title and the cup.
She has also been a member of the Austrian international program for some years. Koizar has regularly played for the Austrian senior team since 2014 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2013.
She is a very experienced player. Thanks to Koizar's pro career, she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Australia, and of course North America) in seven different countries. Koizar has played professionally in Australia (Thunder), France (Charleville-Mezieres), Hungary (ZTE Noi Kosarlabda Klub), Italy (Valdarno), Romania, Russia (Enisey), and Spain (Leganes).
She graduated from the University of Maine in 2017, and it will be her ninth season in pro basketball.
