Van Den Eynde's 23 points and 6 assists give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

26-year old point guard Niels Van Den Eynde (180-PG-2000) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Partena Professional Okapi Aalst and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had the game-high 23 points adding three rebounds and six assists for Aalst in his team's victory, helping them to beat Mechelen (#6, 1-1) 94-79. It allowed Okapi Aalst to take over top position in the BNXT-League. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Aalst won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Van Den Eynde had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Okapi Aalst, through which he has constantly improved. Van Den Eynde has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 18.5ppg), assists (5th best: 7.0apg) and averages solid 2.5spg,68.4% FGP and 42.9% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Clement Matisse (198-PF) of CB Liege. He is a forward in his 6th season at Liege. Third place about best performers goes to guard Enoch Cheeks (190-G-2001) of league's second-best Windrose Giants Antwerp. Cheeks showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round.
