BNXT-League round 3 best performance: Enoch Cheeks

American-Liberian Guard Enoch Cheeks (190-G-2001) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Windrose Giants Antwerp, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 25-year old player was the main contributor (25 points, five rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Den Bosch (#11, 1-2) with 39-point margin 125-86. It allowed Antwerp Giants to take over top position in the BNXT-League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Antwerp already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Cheeks had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. It's his second year at Antwerp Giants and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Former University of Dayton star has very solid stats this year. Cheeks is in league's top in points (6th best: 18.7ppg) and averages impressive 3.0spg,62.5% FGP and 52.2% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young Maxime Bilolo (202-PF-2004) of CB Liege. Bilolo had a very good evening with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Liege lost that game 78-96 to Mechelen (2-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Bilolo is a newcomer at Liege, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.3ppg (#7).

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Jalen Hampton (201-G) of Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen (#8). Hampton scored 16 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. He was a key player of Kangoeroes, leading his team to a 96-78 easy win against Liege (#14, 0-3). Mechelen needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Hampton has a great season in BNXT-League. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.3rpg (4th best).
