Superleague 2 top team - Ruskon-Mordovia (15-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Arsenal (6-12) in Saransk 83-61. Guard Dmitriy Zagnoyko (196-85) scored 24 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Roman Semerninov (200-81) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Five Ruskon-Mordovia players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Mikhail Yudov (198-89) with 20 points and 4 steals and Stanislav Dubinin (198-90) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Arsenal's coach Viktor Uskov gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Ruskon-Mordovia have an impressive 13-game winning streak. Newly promoted Ruskon-Mordovia maintains first position with 15-1 record. Arsenal at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth place with 12 games lost. Ruskon-Mordovia are looking forward to face league's second-placed AltajBasket in Barnau in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Arsenal will have a break next round.
