We should mention about the upset which took place in Vladivostok, where higher ranked Triumph Lyubertsy (8-10) lost to ninth ranked Spartak-Prim. (7-11) in a road game 71-78 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Triumph Lyubertsy. They outrebounded Triumph Lyubertsy 43-25 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Triumph Lyubertsy helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American point guard Paul Delaney (188-86, college: UAB) who scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Power forward Artem Zabelin (215-88) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was international Sergey Karasev (202-93, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who recorded 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Spartak-Prim. maintains ninth place with 7-11 record. Dmitry Kulagin contributed with 10 points and 4 assists for the winners. Krasnie Krilya's coach Sergey Bazarevich allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
