We should mention about the upset which took place in Budapest, where higher ranked PVSK Pannon (7-11) lost to thirteenth ranked MAFC (4-13) in a road game 71-87 on Wednesday. MAFC outrebounded PVSK Pannon 36-25 including 23 on the defensive glass. Indian-Canadian forward Robbie Sihota (201-87) had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 17 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Deville Smith (183-91, college: Tenn-Martin) chipped in 19 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Five MAFC players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Anthony Nelson (185-89, college: Niagara) with 4 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists and power forward Tamas Harazin (206-85) scored 18 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). MAFC moved-up to twelfth place. Loser PVSK Pannon keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost. They share it with KTE-Duna Aszfalt. MAFC will meet at home league's second-placed Szolnok in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. PVSK Pannon will play against Kaposvari (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
