Leader Atomeromu delivered the seventeenth win on Wednesday night. This time they beat 14th ranked Jaszberenyi (3-18) 92-80. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Atomeromu outrebounded Jaszberenyi 36-23 including a 25-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was power forward Ryan Watkins (206-91, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 16 points. Atomeromu's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was center Garrick Sherman (210-90, college: Notre Dame) who recorded 18 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Travis Cohn (188-89, college: Jacksonville) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Atomeromu (17-4) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place. Jaszberenyi lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Atomeromu are looking forward to face Sopron KC (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
