Second Stage Round 5: Jaszberenyi - Szedeak 74-53
Date: April 10, 2016
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when twelfth ranked Jaszberenyi (3-1) crushed at home 11th ranked Szedeak (3-1) 74-53 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Jaszberenyi. Szedeak was better in fourth quarter 13-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Serbian guard Miljan Rakic (195-86, agency: BeoExcell) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 7 rebounds. American center Garrick Sherman (210-90, college: Notre Dame) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSU Moorhead, agency: HMS) answered with 7 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import center Clayton Vette (202-88, college: Winona St.) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Szedeak. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jaszberenyi moved-up to eleventh place in Division. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
