Regular Season Round 10: TEMP-SUMZ - Urartu Yerevan 88-71

Bottom-ranked Urartu Yerevan (0-9) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 88-71 loss to eighth ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda (4-5) in Revda. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Uzbekistani center Sergey Karaulov (214-82) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 rebounds. Point guard Anton Glazunov (182-86) contributed with 13 points, 8 assists and 6 steals for the winners. TEMP-SUMZ Revda's coach Oleg Meleschenko used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Todd O'Brien (211-89, college: UAB) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and American-Armenian forward Arizona Reid (196-86, college: High Point) added 14 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Urartu Yerevan. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. TEMP-SUMZ Revda maintains eighth position with 4-5 record. Newly promoted Urartu Yerevan still closes the standings with nine games lost. TEMP-SUMZ Revda will play against league's leader Novosybirsk on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Urartu Yerevan will have a break next round.
