Regular Season Round 18: TEMP-SUMZ - Univ.Surgut 92-82

There was a change at the Superleague 1 leadership position after last games. Round 18 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Universitet-Yugra (11-4). They were defeated by tenth ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda (6-9) 92-82 on Thursday night. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Universitet-Yugra. TEMP-SUMZ Revda looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Point guard Anton Glazunov (182-86) had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 15 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and forward Ivan Pavlov (201-89) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. TEMP-SUMZ Revda's coach Oleg Meleschenko used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Serbian Nikola Lepojevic (195-82, agency: BeoExcell) with 28 points and 5 rebounds and Lithuanian point guard Linas Lekavicius (186-84, college: American) scored 16 points and 6 assists. TEMP-SUMZ Revda moved-up to ninth place, which they share with MBA Moscow. Universitet-Yugra at the other side dropped to the second position with four games lost. They share it with Samara-SGEU. They were replaced at the leadership position by Novosybirsk. Universitet-Yugra will play next round against Kupol-Rodniki trying to make it back to the top of the standings. TEMP-SUMZ Revda will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Samara-SGEU on the road.
