Regular Season Round 15: Szedeak - PVSK Pannon 101-62

The game in Szeged supposed to be also quite interesting. 6th ranked PVSK Pannon (8-7) played at the court of eighth ranked Szedeak (8-7). Szedeak smashed PVSK Pannon 101-62 on Saturday. The game without a history. Szedeak led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to PVSK Pannon's 40. Szedeak looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by PVSK Pannon's players. It was a great evening for Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Bulgarian Ivan Lilov (194-88, agency: Two Points) helped adding 20 points and 11 assists. Five Szedeak players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Chris Smith (193-94, college: Utah St., agency: Three Eye Sports) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Tamas Harazin (206-85) scored 17 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). PVSK Pannon's coach Ferenc Csirke gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Szedeak moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated PVSK Pannon. PVSK Pannon lost fourth consecutive game. Szedeak will meet KTE-Duna (#10) in the next round. PVSK Pannon will play against the league's second-placed Kormend where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
