Regular Season Round 14: Keravnos - Enosis 85-67

An interesting game for Keravnos (13-1) which hosted in Strovolos 4th ranked Enosis (6-8). First ranked Keravnos had an easy win 85-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Enosis. The game was mostly controlled by Keravnos. Enosis managed to win fourth quarter 29-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Enosis to just 3 points in third quarter. Keravnos dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Enosis' 26 and made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Keravnos looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American players dominated the game. Point guard Ronald Ross (188-83, college: Texas Tech) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Jake O'Brien (206-89, college: Temple, agency: HMS) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Keravnos players scored in double figures. Guard Gerry Blakes (193, college: Arizona St.) replied with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Eric Washington (178-93, college: Miami, OH) added 20 points and 4 assists in the effort for Enosis. Keravnos have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-1 record. Enosis at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Keravnos are looking forward to face Apollon (#5) in Limassol in the next round. Enosis will play at home against the league's second-placed AEK and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
