FINAL: Ydra Asfalistiki ENAD Agios Dometios vs APOP Paphou 65-45

ENAD shut down APOP in decisive Game 5 to clinch B1 crown-May 7, 2026
Ydra Asfalistiki ENAD captured the Allwyn B1 Men's Division championship on Monday, suffocating APOP Domenica Group 65-45 in Game 5 to clinch the best-of-five final series 3-2 and claim the title.
Coach Marios Argyrou's side delivered their most complete defensive performance of the series in the decider, holding APOP to 11 or fewer points in three of the four quarters and never allowing the visitors to gain a foothold. ENAD led 18-11 after the first period, stretched the advantage to 33-23 at halftime, and pushed it to 47-34 through three quarters before cruising home with an 18-11 fourth-quarter display.
Linoxylakis was the standout with a game-high 21 points, providing the offensive firepower that complemented ENAD's stifling defense. Rodosthenous added 11, while Sotiris Pafitis (184-SG-2003) and Androulidakis each contributed 10 in a balanced attack that saw four players reach double figures.
APOP, coached by Ioannis Raptis, were held to their lowest output of the series. Tsingas led with nine points, while Ch. Dimitriou and Mavrommatis each had eight, but no player could find sustained rhythm against ENAD's aggressive scheme. The 45-point total reflected a team that was overwhelmed by the intensity of a must-win environment.
The series had been a rollercoaster. After the teams traded victories across the first four games to reach a 2-2 deadlock, the decisive fifth game was anything but close ENAD's defensive masterclass ensuring the trophy went to the team that peaked at exactly the right moment.
