Second Stage Round 3: Szedeak - PVSK Pannon 99-73

The game between Top Four teams took place in Szeged. host Szedeak (15-14) smashed PVSK Pannon (16-12) 99-73. The game was mostly controlled by Szedeak. PVSK Pannon was better in third quarter 23-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Szedeak dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to PVSK Pannon's 42. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by PVSK Pannon's players. It was a good game for Serbian guard Marko Boltic (193-87, agency: 011 Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 assists. Bulgarian Ivan Lilov (194-88, agency: Two Points) contributed with 22 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Five Szedeak players scored in double figures. The former international guard Zoltan Supola (190-88, agency: HMS) answered with 20 points and Bosnian center Ismet Sejfic (208-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for PVSK Pannon. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Szedeak's next round opponent will be Kaposvari on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. PVSK Pannon will play against Sopron KC and hope to win that game.
