Second Stage Round 7: KTE-Duna - Szedeak 76-78

The biggest surprise of round 7 in A Division was guest Szedeak's (17-15) road victory over 3rd placed KTE-Duna (16-16) 78-76 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of KTE-Duna. KTE-Duna trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 24-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 76-78 at the end of the game. Szedeak made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by KTE-Duna helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian guard Andrija Ciric (198-80) fired 27 points for the winners. Bulgarian Ivan Lilov (194-88, agency: Two Points) chipped in 24 points and 4 steals. Naturalized Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90, agency: 011 Sports) produced 23 points and 9 rebounds and Montenegrin point guard Milutin Djukanovic (190-91) added 19 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Szedeak moved-up to third place. KTE-Duna at the other side dropped to the fourth position with 16 games lost. Szedeak are looking forward to face league's leader PVSK Pannon in Pecs in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KTE-Duna will play at home against the league's second-placed Kaposvari and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
