Regular Season Round 1: ZTE KK - KTE-Duna 60-91

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of ZTE KK (0-1) in Zalaegerszeg. Hosts were rolled over by KTE-Duna (1-0) 91-60. The game was mostly controlled by KTE-Duna. ZTE KK was better in third quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Serbian center Rastko Dramicanin (208-86) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and international point guard Krisztian Wittmann (184-85) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Four KTE-Duna players scored in double figures. KTE-Duna's coach Gabor Forray felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American guard Rayshawn Simmons (193, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: Two Points) responded with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists and Croatian power forward Ivica Radic (208-90, agency: XL Basketball Agency) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. KTE-Duna will play against PVSK-Veolia (#12) in Pecs in the next round which should be another easy win for them. ZTE KK will play on the road against Szedeak in Szeged to get more than just one victory in their record.
