Regular Season Round 8: DEAC - Falco-Vulcano 62-92

The game in Debrecen supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Falco-Vulcano (5-2) played at the court of 6th ranked DEAC (4-4). Falco-Vulcano smashed DEAC 92-62. It looked good early as DEAC took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Falco-Vulcano had a 32-10 second period charge getting the lead and DEAC was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 62-92. Falco-Vulcano players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) orchestrated the victory by scoring 31 points. International swingman Zoltan Perl (195-95) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Falco-Vulcano players scored in double figures. American forward Isaiah Armwood (206-90, college: G.Washington) replied with 18 points and 9 rebounds and the former international guard Attila Farkas (191-87) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for DEAC. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Falco-Vulcano have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader Szolnok. Newly promoted DEAC dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. Falco-Vulcano's next round opponent will be ZTE KK (#7) in Zalaegerszeg. DEAC will play on the road against Sopron KC and hope to win that game.
