Very important is a road loss of second ranked Dynamo-MGTU (4-3) against seventh ranked Elbrus Cherk. (1-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Dynamo-MGTU was defeated by Elbrus Cherk. in a tough game in Cherkessk 84-92. Elbrus Cherk. dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Dynamo-MGTU's 40. Guard Georgiy Lachev (194-93) stepped up and scored 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and forward Denis Taran (198-93) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Elbrus Cherk.'s coach Yuriy Meremkulov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was point guard Artem Gaposhin (184-91) with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Ukrainian center Nikolay Eremin (205-85) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Five Dynamo-MGTU players scored in double figures. Elbrus Cherk. maintains seventh place in 2 with 1-6 record. Loser Dynamo-MGTU dropped to the third position with three games lost.
