No shocking result in a game when third ranked Etha (3-2) crushed 5th ranked Apollon (1-4) in Nicosia 80-61. American players dominated also this game. Forward Dion Wright (201-93, college: St.Bonaventure) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Trevis Wyche (185-95, college: St.Peter's) chipped in 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Etha players scored in double figures.
