An interesting game took place in Kaposvar where higher ranked Alba (8-5) was upset on the court of tenth ranked Kaposvari (6-7) 78-64 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Alba. Alba was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 28-13 charge of Kaposvari, which allowed them to win the game. Kaposvari outrebounded Alba 48-35 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was naturalized Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90, agency: 011 Sports) who scored 29 points and 9 rebounds. Naturalized Serbian center Marko Spica (205-86, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. The former international power forward Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 15 points and American forward Alandise Harris (198-90, college: Arkansas, agency: Diamond Sports) added 12 points respectively for the guests. Kaposvari moved-up to ninth place. Defending champion Alba keeps the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with KTE-Duna. Kaposvari will meet JP-Auto JKSE (#12) in the next round. Alba will play against Falco-Vulcano (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
