Regular Season Round 15: Keravnos - APOP 86-72

The game between second ranked Keravnos (10-3) and 7th ranked APOP (1-12) in Strovolos ended with biggest points difference. Keravnos beat guests from Paphou 86-72. Keravnos forced 21 APOP turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 57.7 percentage. Keravnos players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of American point guard Ronald Ross (188-83, college: Texas Tech) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Simon Michail (185-92) helped adding 16 points. Keravnos' coach Christoforos Livadiotis used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American guard James Milliken (188-93, college: Creighton, agency: SDJ Sports) with 27 points and 6 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and the other American import guard Tracy Abrams (188-92, college: Illinois) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Defending champion maintains second place with 10-3 record behind leader AEK. APOP lost twelfth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Keravnos will play against league's leader AEK in Larnaca in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. APOP will play at home against Enosis (#3) to get more than just one victory in their record.
