We should mention about the upset which took place in Moscow, where 4th placed Novosybirsk (25-14) lost to ninth ranked MBA Moscow (19-20) in a road game 76-86 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Novosybirsk. MBA Moscow looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Point guard Andrey Sopin (186-97) stepped up and scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and power forward Alexei Kuznetsov (205-84) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Kirill Pisklov (194-96) responded with 21 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Alexander Martynov (196-95) scored 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. MBA Moscow moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Irkut. Loser Novosybirsk dropped to the fifth position with 14 games lost.
