Apoel held off Keravnos to even the series at 1-1. Strangely Keravnos outrebounded Apoel 36-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international guard Vassilis Kounas (194-84) scored 17 points and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Willie Kemp (185-87, college: Memphis) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists during the contest. Four Apoel players scored in double figures. Apoel's coach Antonis Konstantinides used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American power forward Terell Parks (204-91, college: W.Illinois) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and American-Somalian forward Mohamed Abukar (208-85, college: San Diego St., agency: Two Points) scored 19 points.
