Second Stage Round 6: Szedeak - ZTE KK 81-83

The most exciting game of round 6 in the A Division took place in Szeged. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 5th ranked Szedeak (12-19) to second ranked ZTE KK (16-15) 83-81 on Saturday evening. The guests trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-81. ZTE KK outrebounded Szedeak 45-24 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. 29 personal fouls committed by Szedeak helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was forward Mate Mohacsi (192-90) who scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. International swingman Szilard Benke (198-95) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85, agency: BeoBasket) who recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and Serbian guard Marko Boltic (193-87, agency: 011 Sports) added 9 points, 11 assists and 4 steals respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ZTE KK maintains second position in Division with 16-15 record having ten points less than leader Szolnok. Szedeak at the other side keeps the fifth place with 19 games lost.
