Very predictable result when fifth ranked AEK Larnaca (5-3) edged on the road 10th ranked E.N. Paralimni (1-7) 60-58 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But E.N. Paralimni won fourth quarter 18-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AEK Larnaca dominated on the defensive end, holding E.N. Paralimni to just 5 points in second quarter. They outrebounded E.N. Paralimni 45-31 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American power forward Brison Gresham (203-1998, college: Texas Southern) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Quentin Snider (188-1995, college: Louisville, agency: GoEmpire Group) accounted for 16 points and 6 rebounds. American-Nigerian forward Stephen Ugochukwu (201-1996, college: McNeese St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Aaron Cook (188-1997, college: Georgia) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively for E.N. Paralimni in the defeat. AEK Larnaca moved-up to fourth place. E.N. Paralimni lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with seven games lost.
