An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Nicosia. First ranked Keravnos faced 3rd ranked AEK Larnaca. Host Keravnos (11-1) defeated guests from Larnaca (9-4) 93-78. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of AEK Larnaca. The game was mostly controlled by Keravnos. AEK Larnaca was better in fourth quarter 19-15. American point guard Darrion Strong-Moore (185-1994, college: UAFS) replied with 28 points and the former international forward Sotiris Manolopoulos (208-1987) added 19 points in the effort for AEK Larnaca. Keravnos have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 11-1 record. AEK Larnaca at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost. They share the position with AEL. Keravnos will play against AEL (#4) in Limassol in the next round. AEK Larnaca will play at home against Apollon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
