The best player for the winners was forward Travin Thibodeaux (203-1996, college: New Orleans) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Jalen Henry (203-1996, college: SIUE) chipped in 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Tray Buchanan (185-1998, college: Emporia St.) produced 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Harrison Henderson (211-1997, college: CMU) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Apoel and five AEL players scored in double figures. AEL's coach Markos Asonitis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Apoel maintains second place with 12-3 record behind leader Keravnos. AEL at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Apoel are looking forward to face APOP (#9) in Paphou in the next round and are hoping to win another game. AEL will play on the road against Achilleas K. (#8) in Kaimakli and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
