Semi-Finals Game 1: Keravnos - Apollon 87-84

Apollon trailed by 15 points after 3 quarters before a 30-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 84-87 at the end of the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Apollon helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American-Gambian Ousman Krubally (201-1988, college: Georgia St.) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. American forward Zach Thomas (203-1996, college: Bucknell) chipped in 25 points. Keravnos' coach Michalis Kakiouzis used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Ghanian-American guard Milan Acquaah (190-1997, college: CBU) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) and American center Taylor Adway (205-1996, college: Ferris St.) added 17 points and 16 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
